You want a centre knurl for heavy squats, a long warranty, or stainless steel in a damp gym.
Titan publishes 200,000 PSI tensile strength and a 1,500 lb capacity, solid numbers for a bar at this price. Hard chrome on the shaft and sleeves protects better against rust than bare steel or black oxide, though chrome knurl can feel a little less sharp than bare steel.
The shaft is 28 mm, slightly thinner than the 28.5 mm powerlifting-leaning bars, with medium volcano-style knurl and both power and Olympic marks. Eight brass needle bearings spin the sleeves fast, which helps the turnover in cleans and snatches. For slow lifts only, a bushing bar works just as well.
