No. Everything works without one. An account (one tap with Google) remembers your room and gear, and keeps saved plans and products on every device.

It checks each product's published size against your floor and ceiling, looks for pull-up headroom above racks and room to load a barbell, then picks the best value at your door for each piece your goals need.

Yes. Every size and weight on the site switches between metric and imperial with the cm · kg / in · lb switch at the bottom of each page. It starts in metric in Canada and imperial in the US, and your account remembers your choice.

Four, all free: will a box get through your door and down the basement stairs, will a rack fit under your ceiling with pull-up room, what a US price really costs in Canada, and how much flooring you need.

The catalog is growing. We only list products we can check against the brand's own store or an authorized retailer, with real measurements. Tell us what you'd like added at hello@getbyg.com.

The price, shipping when the store publishes it, and your sales tax (GST, HST, PST or QST, or US state tax), in your own currency. We also flag when customs fees might be charged at delivery.

Every price shows the date it was checked. Old prices are marked, and the Builder stops using any older than 180 days. Daily automatic updates are coming once our store feeds are connected.

Stores change prices and run sales, and some only show shipping at checkout. The store's checkout is always the final word; if our price is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

No. Canadians see Canadian stores in Canadian dollars. For gear only sold in the US, the product page explains the ways Canadians get it, like border pickup and forwarding, with the costs to expect.

Unless a rating says otherwise, no. Our ratings come from published specs, prices, warranties and store policies, and every rating says how it was made.

No. No brand can pay to be picked by the Builder, rated higher or listed first, and affiliate commissions never change our picks.

Only from brands that gave us written permission, store feeds that license them, or our own photos. Each one is credited. Products without a permitted photo show an icon instead.

Nothing unless you make an account. Then: your name and email from Google, and whatever you choose to save (location, room, goals, gear, plans, products). Never your address, phone number or payment details.

Yes, any time, from your account page. Everything is deleted straight away, and you can download a copy first.
