You want a rack rated past 600 lb, or one with published steel specs.
This is where it stands out. You get sandwich J-cups and roller J-cups, spotter straps, 4 band pegs, a multi-grip pull-up bar and concrete anchors. Many racks sell straps and roller J-cups as add-ons, so the price covers more than it seems.
Holes are 5/8" and spaced 1" apart through the bench and pull zone (2" elsewhere). Fine spacing lets you set the bar and safeties at exactly the right height for bench press and rack pulls.
The straps are rated for 880 lb dropped. They catch a failed rep quietly and don't scratch the bar.
Bells of Steel doesn't list the steel gauge. The capacity is given as 600 lb warrantied, which is plenty for most home lifters but lower than the 1,000 lb ratings on 3x3" racks.
